Because of economic downturn in the world, most people have become jack of all trades and master of non. learning skills and not getting a mastery of them because they are testing waters on which of them will eventually pay the bills. I have a friend who during her spare time learnt soap making, baking, sewing yet she's not making money off these skills.
Being jack of all trades is an edge, since you can be good on anything that you think you’re capable of becoming to. But is it useful in the long run? For me it depends. There are skills that will give you an advantage and make you profitable in the process, while there are also skills that won’t give you consistent income. It all depends on how you utilize your skills, and how you make your skills grow and bring you an income.
