In the third and final T20I, Australia secured a 2-wicket victory over South Africa with just 1 ball in hand. The third T20I was a thrilling affair and there was no telling which team would emerge victorious until the last ball. Batting first, South Africa posted 172 for 7 in their allotted 20 overs, while Australia, chasing a target of 173, batted at RR. Australia batted brilliantly for the first seven overs and did not lose a wicket in the seven overs, but they lost four wickets in the next four overs, putting them under considerable batting pressure. Australia then lost two more wickets in the 19th over, making the winning equation even more difficult. The last two batsmen were on the wicket in the 20th over and needed almost nine runs off six balls, but Australia finally secured a series win over South Africa with two fours and a double.
That was two sided match because both teams did excellent in the last match and every team tried to do well in this match to win this match. Dewald Brevis was a player who did excellent in the last match and he made half century in this match when it was requirement of the match and he played very fast inning in this match because he hit 6 sixes in this match which was excellent performance in this match. Rassie van der Dussen also tried to do well in this match because he want to make match interesting and he made 38 runs in this match but opponent team players played excellent and chased the target at the end of the inning. Glenn Maxwell was a person who made brilliant runs for the team and he gave win to the team as a gift because that team could lose this match.
The game was extremely exciting, so those who watched the third and final T20 match between South Africa and Australia must have enjoyed it. I think T20 matches should be such a close fight, in big tournaments we rarely see such close fight matches, which is why our interest in cricket is decreasing day by day. Right now, if someone is asked who are the two most competitive teams in cricket right now, everyone will probably say India and Pakistan, but India's one-sided victory is almost ruining this attraction.
If Pakistan cannot improve their cricket very quickly and if they do not compete with India, then people will not consider the India and Pakistan match as an interesting match.
Rather, people will wait to watch the Australia vs England or Australia vs India or Australia vs South Africa match.
