I don't think it works that way. He will get Trafford points as he will sub in for Ederson but he will not get captain points. If it worked that way we could never use vice-captain. I mean there will be a sub for Chermiti as well so in that case that player that gets in would get captain points. Not happening as well, captain points are lost in this case.
