My question is this: if it wasn’t a bank staff who revealed my information to them, how did they know I have an account with Access Bank? She even called my full name and recited some account details. It still amazes me till now. How did she get my bank details?
This scam system has been in the country for a while, and no bank staff would reveal your information to them. Most of these scammers collaborate with NIN customers who can access your information, and even without that, they'll find another way to get it, scammers are smarter than you imagined. The name of your bank they mentioned was just a guess, because once you tell them you're not using that bank, they'll apologize and ask for the bank you're actually using.

If anyone asks you to send an OTP, it's just like someone asking for your seed phrase. Because both can lead to loss of your funds, so keep your OTP private like your seed phrase. Legitimate banks won't ask for your OTP over the phone or via email.
