ODIs bilaterals might look boring to many but ODI wc is goated and still has lot of value among fans, some might even argue that it's significance is more than T-20 wc and rightly so.
This is exactly why they should limit the ODI format to the World Cup and nothing else leaving more breathing room for players to focus on the other formats. 3 formats together are pushing more and more players to retire early from one or more formats these days.
The ICC needs to prioritize all 3 formats in a better manner if they wish to stop this early international retirement trend soon.
Nicholas Pooran, Heinrich Klaasen, Marcus Stoinis (ODI) are few among from the list of retired players in this year and their primary reason is to focus on T20 leagues because that is where the money comes not from playing for their national team so work load management is merely an excuse if someone say it so because they are doing it for years to get into this position and I believe work load management is mostly for the medium fast bowlers and everyone else can play all there formats with no issues at all.
