It's truly boring to see Atletico Madrid management remain largely unchanged for several seasons. They're the most stagnant team in La Liga, and they should be the only team capable of making a difference. Barcelona and Real Madrid consistently dominate, while Atletico Madrid is the scapegoat, enduring bitter hardships throughout the season. Surprisingly Atletico Madrid owners still entrust the club to Simeone.
For me, I consider Athletico Madrid a mediocre team due to the way the club's hierarchy runs the affairs of the club, for several years Athletico Madrid can only boast of maybe one or two la liga titles and two champions league runners up and yet the club went ahead to retain Diego Simeone who has only succeeded in making the club a third place figure despite spending huge amount of money in the transfer market over the years, I think its time for a change at club.
Truly I don't just get it, Atletico Madrid is just like average team in that Spanish LA Liga you will think they will get better in this season the next thing is them getting worse, I think it's high time the fans act, like if not that Spanish LA Liga is not that competitive Atletico Madrid would have been in Manchester United position in English premier League, I use to be the fans of that team but now I'm losing patience Diego Simeon should leave the team for good and face another challenge, before he turns out to be like Wenger I really can't believe Atletico Madrid will be like this I'm really disappointed.
You're right atletico Madrid is more of an average team because going by their performance in the last few years they can't be classified as a team that is a threat to the Spanish laliga anymore as they have not been competitive enough to challenge for the league title finishing in the top four has been their target nowadays
I think that Diego simeone has over stayed in the club they need a new coach which will bring in fresh hunger in the team with a winning mentality if atletico madrid is to return back to winning ways
