I have seen Atletico Madrid always unlucky against Espanyol. The team has not been able to win any of the last 5 matches against Espanyol. All 4 matches have been draws and we saw Atletico's defeat in yesterday's match.
It’s not just Atletico Madrid, they usually give top teams in Laliga a tough time and they even beat Real Madrid the last time they faced each other. They’ve improved a lot recently, though many of their games end in draws or unexpected losses... overall they’ve improved.
It’s just one game and they’ll probably do better in the upcoming matches, maybe even the next time they face each other
