Despite Isak’s strong interest in a move to Liverpool and his desire which he has shown by protesting and going on strike against his parent club Newcastle United still need to reach an agreement with Liverpool before a deal can happen so they have to wait for Newcastle. I think Newcastle United are seeking a replacement before agreeing to a deal that will see Isak leave the club.
Isak made it clear he wants to leave and his protesting by not wanting to play or train with them anymore but what I don't understand is that if Liverpool fails to pull the deal off what will happen to Isak? Will he go back to playing for Newcastle or what is his back up plan in case? Because I am sensing Liverpool are reluctant about pushing for the deal and now with Ekitike's performance in the first match he looks like someone that won't take time to adapt to English football and maybe Liverpool wouldn't really need to spend another huge amount on getting Isak.
The transfer window is slowly getting to the end and Isak needs to either find another club or pray Liverpool continues with the deal because Newcastle seems to have already moved on as they are already looking for a replacement.
