Those were majestic words from Modric, worthy of a player who is a champion in every sense. Personally, I know that Modric is a player who will do a lot for Milan. The truth is, it's a shame that Madrid didn't want him more, but AC Milan is one of the best teams in Italy and with so much history, I think Modric will be one of those players who won't go unnoticed by the club.
At least AC Milan's hopes of starting this season with much more enthusiasm are even higher. They've made several signings that are actually quite good. At the very least, they're strengthening their squad, both in terms of playing ability and mentality.

Well, at the start, in their first Coppa Italia match, AC Milan managed to win against Bari 2-1. Luca Modric made his first appearance in this league, as a substitute, and only came on in the 66th minute.
No one doubts Modric's quality; he's one of the best midfielders in the world. However, his advancing age will significantly impact his performance and physical quality, so I believe his contribution is somewhat less than optimal.
There's no definitive proof for AC Milan, but I've seen the arrivals and departures of several players in their squad not make them stronger, so I'm a little pessimistic about AC Milan.
The AC Milan team was not that strong in the previous season, which is why they ended the last season with a relatively poor performance. When starting the new season from the last season, it was expected that they would bring some good players to the club and maybe increase the strength of their club, but the situation remains the same. AC Milan is going to start a new season with a team that is almost the same as before. Since there are no significant good players in the club, they may not be able to make much of an advantage in the next season. I think AC Milan has been in financial trouble for the past few seasons, if they were not in financial trouble, they would have definitely strengthened their team to compete with other teams in the Italian league, but we have not seen any such move from their side so far.
You are right I also think they are having a financial set back because the AC Milan I know would have bought some good players knowing fully well they are not performing well instead they even sold Tijjani Reijnders one of there best players to Manchester city, so I'm very sure they are having some financial issues, they will not perform well this season infact there Last seasons performance may even be better than this season because I'm not seeing any hope of good performance for AC Milan.
The only hope for AC Milan right now is for them to develop a very good strategy and the coach should use them very well they can also look into there Academy if they can see young players that are doing very well just like Barcelona always do, you never can tell that might be there savior since they are facing financial challenges.
