Cockfighting gambling very popular in my country since long ago and continues to this day, but it is operated secretly and the venues are difficult to find because it is illegal and punishable by 10 years in prison or a maximum fine of Rp25M/$1500±.
However there is an exception if the cockfight is part of a traditional or religious ceremony and there is no gambling involved. In Bali, there is a tradition called Tabuh Rah, which is permitted.
