I haven't seen the time where there's a faucet where people are giving around 5 BTC to the users although I've tried to use faucets as well back in 2017 where they're giving I think around 1000-10000 Satoshis every 5-10 minutes. That's $5-$11 already if we compare it to it's current prices. Cheesy


I can't say how long that faucet lasted, but if I'm not mistaken it only existed for a short time during 2010. It was allegedly shut down due to abuse - although I don't understand why someone would claim BTC on a faucet when they could mine BTC with a regular computer and get as much as 50 BTC for each block.

I started with faucets back in 2014, and in the years since, with a good rotator and active refs, I could collect 500k + satoshi daily without too much trouble. There was a Russian site where you could perform various tasks for BTC, and with one click you could get 200k sats per day as some kind of reward for activity or whatever.

I still have some coins from that time, and I can only say that they are worth a small fortune today.
