The issue of a second striker is one issue that could have cost Napoli the title last season, Antonio Conte's reliance on a single striker for the entire season is a wrong tactics because it would wear out the striker due to the excessive work rate that the striker has to face all through the season, Romelu Lukaku is a strong player but his health has to be put into consideration and that's why another striker has to be brought into Napoli.
The truth is that I don't know why Antonio Conte is very confident in using one striker in his team, yes he has a personal love for Lukaku that's why he preferred him than Victor Osimhen but right now Lukaku is not feet to play few games is it not wise for his to get a second striker to increase the chances of his team not facing any challenges before his main striker is back and ready to play? May be what happened to his team last season wasn't enough for him to learn anday he he has a plan to convert a defender to his striker if Lukaku sustains an injury that will prevent him from being available throughout the season.
But from what I'm hearing they're working to find another player who can replace Lukaku, but they have to do it quickly, it's not a team that can do without a striker, Lukaku's injury will weigh heavily on this team and if they don't hurry it will be really bad for them.
