It must be said that Chelsea played a great final and won it but it was a sporadic and dry match, a single one, when there are matches like this, the history or what happened before doesn't matter anymore, I think they are a great team but they still have to improve to reach the level of the top teams
Chelsea form has been unpredictable, often causing surprises since Enzo Maresca took over. After winning the Conference League trophy, they continued their triumph in the Club World Cup. The season has just begun, but his first game in the EPL did not go as expected, a draw against Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge left Enzo Maresca with a lot of work to do. He needs to re-evaluate his squad to perform better because the competition in the UCL is much tougher than the Domestic League.

I don't currently see Chelsea as a serious contender for the UCL, as their squad depth is still below that of other elite teams. However, if Enzo Maresca can improve the team's quality and sharpen their attacking prowess, they might be able to make it to the quarter-finals or semi-finals.
