Betting houses are businesses and, of course, want to make money. But when a customer becomes addicted, they eventually stop betting because they no longer have money to spend. In other words, they stop being profitable for the house. Furthermore, no business wants to be known as a place full of addicts; this damages its reputation and, ultimately, drives away other customers. That's my opinion.

Of course, all forms of business must prioritize profits because that is their main goal and gambling is actually the same as business in general but operates in a different field, casinos take advantage of the carelessness and hopes of losers to get the profits they are aiming for, on the other hand, honestly I do not agree with your opinion about the gambling business that does not want to be known to have many addicts in it, the reason is because the addiction is not caused by the casino or by the bookie but by the gamblers themselves, if for example the addiction is caused by the casino then surely the addicted gamblers have the right to sue the casino, and also another reason is because every decision is determined by the gamblers themselves, there is no coercion or even threats from the casino to always play in it.
