You cannot be a gambler without making this type of mistakes because that is always part of the learning process because a gambler understand the need to stay disciplined and never to chase losses. We may advice people here in theory but the greatest lesson is when they follow the right part which is learning from experience. My only advice is that while learning from experience, a gambling should try not to slide into depression or addiction.
I think you are pushing too hard in making posts. The question OP asked was, "Have you ever made a mistake that resulted in the loss of some or all of your crypto assets?" It seems like you were drunk or in a rush when posting.

Have you ever made a mistake that resulted in the total or partial loss of your crypto assets?
Personally, like many people at the time, I stored my secret key in a file on my PC... which I accidentally deleted. I lost everything.  Grin Grin

Have you had other similar experiences?

It would be nice to share our experiences to prevent others from falling into the same traps.  Wink
Yes, I experienced something similar to what you described above when I first learned about crypto, taught by a friend. I wrote it down on a piece of paper, then forgot where I put it. That's where I lost the results of my hard work working on airdrops and my friend felt the results of the airdrop. From that great experience I gained valuable experience and I am more careful now. Ideally, you should store your phrase or seed in more than one place that is completely safe and away from other people, this will help you avoid losing access if one copy is lost or damaged.
