I am not stressing about PSG's performance in the first match, rather I consider it as a normal performance. PSG is undoubtedly a team that has performed well and they are the best team in the French league, so we always have high expectations from them and we think that PSG should win every match in the French league by a big margin, but the performance of a team is not always the same. For example, in the first match we saw PSG win but we did not see PSG win by a big margin, what I mean is that the win is important, whether that win came by a big margin or a small margin. Those who are regretting this issue may not have to regret it for long because in the next matches of the French league, PSG will definitely perform better than the first match and ensure a big win.
I don't think anyone should be stressed about PSG's performance in this first match of the season. In fact, what is the problem that anyone would be stressed about? PSG performed very well in their first match they won the game, and PSG was the team that dominated. If the concern is that they didn’t score many goals, then those people may not have been watching PSG’s previous matches against Nantes. Otherwise, they would know that PSG hardly scores many goals against Nantes, especially in away games.
Even beyond that, it’s not every match that PSG or any team will score many goals not matter how great their performances is. Sometimes, in some matches, goals come by luck. No matter how much effort a team puts in or how many chances they created, it may be only one or two opportunities that actually get converted into goals.
PSG did try and created some good chances, but they were simply not lucky. One thing people also need to understand about PSG is that at the beginning of almost every season, they rarely put in maximum effort. But with a little time, they start improving and become more consistent. Just look at last season even in the Champions League, PSG didn’t start strongly. But toward the middle of the competition, they began to take things more seriously. If PSG had been serious from the beginning, they might not have even needed a playoff match, and possibly, they could have gone on to win the Champions League unbeaten.
