I followed both Germany and Serbia. Somehow, Serbia seems more relaxed to me, as if they were playing at 40% of their capabilities. They have a lot of big names, and as you said, it would be a surprise not to win a medal...On the other hand, the key player for Germany is Schroder, and I really like his style of play and way of thinking. He is very focused and knows how to assess situations tactically.
I think France can keep up with them, and even though they are missing a lot of players, as i said, they still have quality.
Well, it sounds logical not to put all of their strength in an exhibition/ friendly game. What matters most is to be focused, strong, and healthy in the tournament. Spanoulis and Greece staff "choose" not to use Giannis for the risk of any injury. However, since he will need some playing time, it seems that he will play in the Akropolis friendly tournament. Germany has great homogeneity, like Serbia, maybe even bigger. Also, they have the winning spirit and mentality from their previous successes. Surely it will be a tremendous surprise if some of these teams miss out on the medals. We said, anything can happen and that's why we love this game.
