Personally, like many people at the time, I stored my secret key in a file on my PC... which I accidentally deleted. I lost everything.

So, how did you react after realising you just kicked your ass? I can imagine your face with agape
At one time or another, we've all made some silly mistakes in the past that are worthy to be shared in order to create awareness. I saved sensitive information on my email including private keys until I paid the extreme price. Losing your assets to scammers is more painful than losing access to it thou.
