I really don't know what Antonio Conte plans to do to his squad as regards adding a back up striker but if he fails to do the needful then they are going to have too many problems in trying to defend their title, and perhaps they might not be too lucky to have their only striker always fit due to injury problems and fatigue because he is going to have to play too many games in different competitions. If Inter Milan could set their priorities right this season then they can perhaps topple on Napoli and win the league.
Lukaku has been sidelined for a long time, and it's estimated he'll be sidelined for at least three months. This could cause irreversible damage for a player his age. He might not be playing as well as he is now when he returns in three months. Therefore, it would be in Napoli's best interest to replace the Belgian striker before the transfer window closes. Napoli's chances of winning the Champions League and the Italian league this year are quite low, but they need a good striker to at least win the Italian league.
