This is a must win game for Real Madrid to begin their journey with hope and confidence. What happened last season was a total mess, they won't definitely allow that to happen again. Moreover, Alonso as the new head coach couple with the new signings they made to their squad put them at the advantage against Osasuna. Although, Osasuna is known to be a sturbon team against the big ones alongside Mallorca but I don't expect anything less from Real Madrid other than a victory. Barcelona as their strongest rival secured a victory in their opening and are already a step ahead. Real Madrid will be eager to make it even by winning it today too.
Let's wait and see how the Real Madrid performances can go this season. Because this is what we're saying every season—that the team will not allow what happened to them last season to happen again—but when the season comes, they will still repeat the same thing. It comes to say this season they begin their journey with a new coach today, which is Xabi Alonso, and I can have hope he will  try as much as possible to make the team to be better than last season.

Because we all know that Xabi Alonso is always trying his possible best to make the team a good standard so that they will be able to get him to the top of the leagues all the time, Alonso is a manager with integrity and dignity. That’s why I’m also expecting Real Madrid to do well this season, except they refuse to cooperate with the new coach; since if they refuse to follow the coach’s rules, the team will also not get what they want.

I can't wait for this match to start. Frankly, I'm curious how Real Madrid will develop with all their current changes. Will they still play like they did in the FIFA Club World Cup, or have they done an evaluation of their failure in that tournament?

I think there are still a lot of holes in their back line, and I was quite happy when I heard the rumors that Real Madrid will go after Ibrahima Konate. It is even reported that Liverpool is willing to release Konate if the price is right. As I know, Liverpool wants £35m for Konate, but, the price may be reduced considering that Konate's contract only has 1 year left.

It will be interesting to see whether Real Madrid will really sign Konate at the start of this season, or they will go back to their business strategy and get the player for free, even if they have to be patient for another year.
