It must be said that Chelsea played a great final and won it but it was a sporadic and dry match, a single one, when there are matches like this, the history or what happened before doesn't matter anymore, I think they are a great team but they still have to improve to reach the level of the top teams

What we saw from Chelsea’s performance last season was clearly an unpredictable Chelsea, but in the end they were able to turn things around and still ended up finishing in the top four of the table. They still went on to prevail in the FIFA club World Cup against their other rivals in the competition. With such performance, everyone will be expecting them to begin the new season with a banger but unfortunately they played beyond expectations and even drew their first match. For now, we can still say they’re unpredictable and we just have to wait and see how they perform in the coming days before coming to conclusion about them.

Ancelotti wasn’t lucky with the players Eder Militao missed a lot due to injury, Mbappe had to adapt, and Bellingham and Vinicius weren’t in the kind of form we know them for. I think Xabi already has well developed tactics and excellent training sessions that will generally prepare the players for the start.

Well he has received many praises and everyone is already seeing him as a manger that will do well better than Ancelotti. His elimination from the FIFA club World Cup competition last season may just be forgiven that he’s just getting to know the team, but he actually did well in that competition. Let’s see what he can do in the champions league with this great team this season, because a lot is expected from him and he needs to deliver very well.
