In some news they write that Sancho has stopped negotiations with Roma, I don’t think it would have been difficult for Roma to take such a player on loan, here it probably played a role that Sancho would like to have a clearer understanding of his future and not just play another season on loan in another team. I don’t know why he would refuse Roma, it’s a good team, maybe he was not satisfied with the loan conditions.
I've read in several media outlets that Roma are still trying to sign Sancho, and I believe this is just a matter of agreement, and there's still time for Roma to rectify that and bring Sancho in.
It seems like it's only a matter of time, and I'm quite confident that Sancho will go to Roma, as it's the perfect choice for his career.
Not a bad move, but seems quite expensive for them. You have to remember, Italian teams are not as rich as Spanish or English teams, and only German/French teams that are richer is PSG and Bayern, rest are similar to Serie A.
So it means, Roma spending 20+ million on Sancho is a HUGE expense for them, something that means they can't risk a bad player there. So if Sancho joins, and he plays terrible, that would be a very very terrible financial situation. He is still relatively young, so if they can do fine with him, that's okay, they can afford him in the sense that if he plays another 5-6 years at least, then yeah that's fine, then they can sell him for less and say that they had a good player there. But they need to be careful with him.
