The Nigerian side is currently wining the game in their last group match. Congo need to win this game to have hope of qualifying. The Nigerian team is just playing for pride since they are already out the competition. If the game ends this way, Sudan and Senegal will move to the next round. The NFF will have to evaluate the performance of our new coach because he has not lived up to expectations.
Is really disappointing to see the Nigeria side getting a win in this encounter, like what were they waiting for in the first and second leg of the competition? This was suppose to be the kind of display they are expected to bring not now that a win or draw even a lose doesn't change the fact that they are out already, they are winning to return back to Nigeria, this is a sign that we are not ready and I won't blame the coach at all, we lack coordinations. Let them win and eat their pride since is what they're fighting for all these while.
