Well you're right about their preseason games they haven't performed as expected but that doesn't mean they will have same performance when the league starts. I was as surprised when I saw they only manage to win Essen with just 1 goals but then sometimes that's how football is, the most important thing is that they got the win. Dortmund's performance will be known when the league commence and I think they will have a pretty good start compared to last season.
They will play their first game against St. Pauli which is not a very strong team so it should be a win for them but they will have to improve their game if they really need the points, they need to find their rhythm again from the start beginning so they can challenge for the league.
