The most important factor to consider when starting to build a business is the target audience. You have to think of who would you want to cater to. Who are the communities that you may profit off of. Like for example if there is a school near you, you should know that students would be your target audience. You should start a business where students can buy materials from or a place they can study or even hang out around. I believe that if you studied your target audience, the first step of your business is already successful enough.
Yes, this is the reality we can't imagine the success of any business in which you don't know the audience you have to target. you promote your business only in the situation when you know about the target people you know about the product and the people to which the product belongs to them. For example if you are offering an online course for the people to get skills and make them able to earn but you promote your course in the area or people belong to the agricultural field so i think it will be a full fledged flop promotion. If you tell the people in the universities and in the companies where educated people are working then there is more probability that people will attract towards you and make contact. this is the basic and important rule for any business to make it successful that you definitely know about your target audience.
