If I have to choose anytime, I will choose Hojlung over Zirkzee and Mount. I will not even give Mount any opportunity near post, unless he will turn to a good defensive midfielder for me, which I will not be so confident to keep him also. It is time Amorim woke from slumber.
Unfortunately, neither player has lived up to Amorim's expectations and neither has adapted to the tough competition in the Premier League. Amorim seemed to be trying to find a new format for the game, and bringing Mount in as a striker didn't produce any results, and even Manchester United struggled to create chances. A few substitutions made a difference, even though they failed to score, but I think this team has improved significantly compared to the previous season.
They played really well. They may have lost, but such dominant, high-quality play against Arsenal created a positive impression of this season. Last year, they played very well in the Europa League title, losing to Tottenham, but they lost. This year, they started with a similar style of play, and I hope they can play similarly against other major opponents and create the Manchester United impression we've become accustomed to this year.
