You made interesting points mate. Leverkusen under Xavi Alonso was a terror to Bayern Munich and that made the Germans bundesliga once again interesting to watch as it was no longer a one man show as it was for many seasons. So if Leverkusen has to lose form this season and give a lower performance from what they gave last season then the bundesliga will be back to it's boring one man show league again, and this isn't what we wish to watch this season.
I see the Bundesliga returning to a farm league where only one team has the potential to win the title race. The reason I assume this is because since the departure of Alonso and several other top players, Leverkusen performance has declined even further. Previously, when Leverkusen was still managed by Xabi Alonso, Bayern Munich had difficulty maintaining its dominance, now there is no longer a team that can compete with Munich in the title race because their level is much higher than their rivals. Dortmund and Leverkusen may be competing for the top four, but they will be far behind Bayern Munich, who are maturing under Vincent Kompany.
Because Bundesliga teams are so far behind Bayern Munich in terms of finances, it's difficult for them to build a team that can match Bayern Munich.

Leverkusen were a surprise in the last two seasons. Even last season, when Xaabi Alonso was still around, they couldn't compete with Bayern Munich, let alone this season. So, it's no surprise that this season's Bundesliga will once again be a league without fierce competition for the title. Bayern Munich will certainly have a very easy time defending their title.
