My case is not the same because I learnt very early how to separate my funds into investment funds, basic needs, gambling funds and every other thing I need to spend money on and I try not to use money for investment in gambling. The problem is that when you are eager to become rich via gambling, you will definitely act irrationally which will cost you money and your rest of mind. But if you see gambling for what it is, partly money and partly fun, you will be able to remained disciplined.
