I got a direct message on X from the BetHog account inviting me to play on their platform. They're offering 100% deposit match up to $5,000. Looks like BetHog is into advertising again cause this time even here, since they reopened their signature campaign. For sure, that will get them some new signups, but of course it's where not sure if those who register will actually gamble on their site..
Anyway, when I checked BetHog's bio on X, it says From the creators of FanDuel. Does BetHog offer something like FanDuel's like the NBA players bet builder?
Was it actually their official account that messaged you on X? Or maybe it is a player who is inviting you to play, trying to get some referral bonus out of you, but if it was the official account, then yes, they are probably trying to reach as many people as possible to increase their user base and there is nothing wrong with that. If they send 1,000 messages, and even if 10 to 20 people accept their invite and join, it's a win for them.
You are right that they relaunched their signature campaign after the evaluation. LM made the announcement and will accept new participants soon, so yeah, they have probably restructured their advertising strategy or something and are starting again, which is a good thing, because a business can only grow if there are continuous and effective promotions going on all over the internet about their products and services.
