Yup I gave up everything around 2017 and 2018 or maybe max 2019. I just sold everything I could for BTC and tried to build it up. I had to sell everything after that and seems every few years I have to do it, but I'm just all about BTC now, USDT only because of gambling oc
It used to be a real pain management, literally over 50 wallets (back then you didn't have MM and I was really into POS coins so every coin was an individual wallet. Imagine when they changed network or reorganized blockchain or whatever, imagine constantly changing nodes addresses.
In the end I made some money and lost some money, but overall, ICOs and staking POScoins and just all the time wasted. I actually believed in projects but now I am wise. They are 99% scammers and getrichquick no matter how they say.
In terms of money I probably made a little bit of profit but in terms of time? Years lost. If I invested the time in myself instead, I would be much richer
Some claim it's "research" but it's really not, because most of it goes to waste, even if it's purely about crypto, like reddit, this forum, twitter, instagram, tiktok, doesn't matter which one, as long as you spend hours on it, most goes to waste and for "fun" stuff and that doomscrolling ends up being something bad. We should be doing something a lot better for the long term, it's not focusing on how to grow further with getting a lot better result if we could get the greater return in the end, that's important.
I guess its research but its not enriching. It doesn't grow your brain, or your critical thinking. It doesn't help you in real life or career. It exposes you to memes and crypto bro talk and like I said doomscrolling. You lose sleep you lose time you lose friends you become an irritating bitch lol
