After seeing how PSG played their two last finals against Chelsea and Tottenham,  I can only conclude that they may not be able to replicate last year's performance this year. It is looking like a lot of the coaches have mastered how to play them and that will definitely affect them in the new season. Even. In their league, they have to try to win it
They can't unless we will still be seeing last season version of them, Totenham nearly beat them if not that they didn't maintain the wining till the end, I won't want to reminds us about the result of them and Chelsea because that match with 3 goals scored by Chelsea didn't look like a final to me because for such important final that produce 2 goals in the first half and 1 goal to seal it up it was just a disaster for PSG, as for their legaue that their entitlement, so they may not find it difficult to win the title because the league isn't competitive so if they win the title this season again I won't be surprised because other teams their seems to be very unserious to challenge them.

For now PSG does look like they are going to maintain that form they used against big teams last season in the champions League, against Chelsea their performance was very poor and watching how they struggled to find their feet again against Tottenham it's a clear indication that the team is tired and need to get their strength back before performing better again. PSG performance in the French Ligue1 can not be compared to their performance in the champions League so they can still retain their league but winning the champions League will require them to work hard to improve their performance.
I totally agree with you that PSG doesn't look like they are going to maintain that form they used against big clubs last season in the UEFA Champions League because if you access PSG's last three matches, you will notice PSG's form is slowly declining, and they need to regain their last season's form if they want to compete in the UEFA Champions League this season. PSG struggled to beat Nantes in their opening French Ligue 1 match, but it will not stop PSG from winning the French Ligue 1 title because PSG has no competitors in their domestic league.
I wasn't expecting PSG to defend the title this season, because they are satisfied with their victory last season. If you observe their recent performance, it's not as classic as last season. I don't think that they will go far this season in the Champions League. Ligue 1 is their birth right since they're the only rich club in the league.
