To tell the truth, I always question the existence of the Conference League. 
Why did UEFA feel the need of a 3rd European tournament which is even below the level of the Europa League?
Look at the prize money of this tournament.

The biggest prize is literally ?7m. The winner of the tournament gets it. What's the point of this then? Just to make more teams happy with a different kind of trophy?
I still question the future of the Conference League because of that. It might not even exist as long as the Europa League.
It's simple, teams play more matches, fans follow the team, more matches are played and more money is involved, it's clear that the prize money will be smaller but it must be said that the final will be less followed than other finals such as the Europa League or Champions League, and it's normal that there is less money.
