Nepal finally got a win against the Hobart Hurricanes Academy in the Top End T20 Series, after three consecutive defeats against Academy sides. Batting first, they made 180/7, thanks to the contributions from Kushal Bhurtel, Aarif Sheikh and Lokesh Bam. In return, the Hurricanes could only get to 114, as Nandan Yadav ripped through their batting lineup with 5 wickets. Sandeep Lamichhane also did well, by picking up the wicket of Hobart Hurricanes captain Macalister Wright. In 2 hours from now, Nepal will play against the Melbourne Renegades Academy.

In this match, Nepal didn't score much, only 139 runs. Although none of the players make a big score but there were some reasonable performances by Kushal Malla and their captain, Dipendra Singh Airee. However they were able to defend this score because of their magical bowling. Sompal Kami took five wickets for 17 runs only and he was the man of the match too.
