You are right, most fans expected Real Madrid to beat Osasuna by a huge margin, but it was not easy. The match could have ended in a draw if they had not scored from the penalty. I watched the match at full time and Real played well and kept the ball for most of the match and played attacking football but they did not score. You play well all the time but if you do not win then that good performance is worth nothing. Real won their first match of the season in La Liga, it's a good start for them but they need to improve a lot because they will have to fight against strong opponents in the upcoming matches and win.
It is very arduous to score against teams when all 10 players of a team play the role of defenders. In this match we saw that Osasuna players did not make any attempt to score. Osasuna managed to make only 2 shots in the entire match. Osasuna players only had to block Madrid's attacks. And Osasuna succeeded. Madrid did not manage to score any goals except for the penalty. Anyway , this does not prove that Madrid played badly. Even though our expectations were not met, getting 3 points must be considered a good result. And Alonso will have to identify the mistakes made by Madrid in this match. In the upcoming matches we want to see more strong gameplay from Madrid
