If the gambler isn’t responsible for his losses than who is? I think the whole idea of trying to place blame in the first place is a bit misguided. You’re paying for entertainment, so if you are looking to blame someone for you not being happy with your purchase than I guess you could blame the casino for not being entertaining enough, but it would be better to just find a form of entertainment you do enjoy.
The first sign of irresponsibility is when the gambler blames others for his actions. if you can't own up to your decisions as an adult then you are not mentally mature and shouldn't be gambling In the first place.
