Bayer Leverkusen era has come to an end, it was a short lived one, one season wonder just like when Leicester won the Premier League though they did theirs in style but it wasn’t to be a regular thing. The coach who did that left the important key players left and there’s been no better replacement. I feel they’re gonna struggle to be in the title race. Erik Ten Hag when things are tough don’t always do well I’m yet to see how he’ll perform with this Leverkusen side. Bayern are set to dominate the league once more.
Bayer Leverkusen has always been a top club not just the Bundesliga but in Europe. They have reached the Champions League finals where they lost to Real Madrid in 2002. It's too early to conclude that they will not make any impact this season. Preseason results are not the right means of evaluating the quality of a team. Some clubs won all their preseason games but performed poorly in the main competitions.
