I also believe United will bounce back and return to glory, but it will certainly take time. Honestly, in the United vs Arsenal match, United played quite well, and teamwork began to show. However Arsenal remained very solid in defense, and they also had a bit of luck compared to United in this match.
However there's one thing that puzzles me about Amorim this season why hasn't Bruno Fernandez been allowed to move freely? In the last two seasons, Bruno Fernandez has always been given freedom, but now Amorim is relying more on Cunha, and Mbeumo is sidelining Bruno's important role. Perhaps Amorim wants to avoid always focusing on Bruno to create variety, but hopefully that's the case. But looking at United's current form, they'll perform better than last season. Losing their first match doesn't make them worse in fact it will be a valuable lesson for Amorim to continue evaluating.
Everyone who watched the match surely noticed that Manchester United has indeed improved slightly. And while United lost, that doesn't mean they're as bad as last season. At least the chemistry between the players in the Manchester United squad seems to be building well. Accurate passing and strong teamwork will certainly lead Manchester United to greater progress this season. However, we can't judge too quickly and shouldn't expect too much. We'll have to see how the team fares in the next few matches. Whether or not Manchester United can collect full points will be crucial in analyzing whether the team is improving.
In the first match, I still saw Amorim needing some adjustments with the players he fielded. So he made a lot of substitutions. Hopefully, he'll be confident in which players he'll rely on more for the next match.
