Yes, it's a one-game win, and Chelsea played exceptionally well in that match. Perhaps they'll face Paris Saint-Germain again in the Champions League and not play the same way. Perhaps they'll play the same way and beat Paris Saint-Germain again—time will tell. Chelsea drew their first Premier League match, but because every match is important in the Champions League, they should strive for more wins.
They may not even meet in the Champions League as a whole. Their first match in the EPL was strange because they dominated, shot at the goal, but were unable to break through the defense despite their colossal dominance. In the Champions League, this would be a critical mistake, and they cannot afford to make it. I think they understand this.
Even though they will face each other in the Champions League, the match will be full of tension because there is a scent of revenge from PSG. The defeat in the Club World Cup final left PSG deeply disappointed as they failed to make perfect history after winning the UCL trophy.
It seems Chelsea weak point is starting to show, they are having difficulty breaking through the defense of a team that uses defensive tactics, fortunately the opponent they are facing is the class of Crystal Palace, perhaps if they were facing a team on par with PSG, the result would have been different. Enzo Maresca must once again maximize his players' ability to create and capitalize on opportunities. The draw in their first EPL game was a valuable lesson for them.
