Based on the performance we saw between Manchester United and Arsenal, and the pressure they put on Arsenal’s defense, I don’t think Fulham and Burnley will be able to do anything or even stop them. This is where Amorim will prove his point of changing the narrative of Manchester United. All we have to give him is time, so let’s just give them enough time until the second week of the season and see how they will duel in the Premier League this season.
Man Utd was definitely the better team in this duel, but you also have to acknowledge that Arsenal is now a much more experienced team compared to 2–3 years ago. They didn’t rush the game — they calmly waited for a chance, took it, and then simply waited to see if any mistakes would happen to capitalize on them.
All praises to Amorim — I think Man Utd will be 3–4 times better than last season. Will that be enough for a Champions League spot? We’ll see.
Mbeumo will shine this season if he gets some help from the rest of the team.
