A person cannot make money without common sense.
So, here we have to think realistically. It's true, as you said, that money is everything and that's the goal of many people's endeavors. However, we can't achieve it without common sense, especially on a large scale.
Therefore, I think we prioritize common sense first and foremost when it comes to generating ideas and methods for making money in life.
Common sense is important, but that would not be a big deal if you are lazy, or not smart, and whatever else is required, or have zero capital for example. Some claim that you can start a business with zero capital for example, and show ideas, but in 99% of the cases, even if you "could" start with zero capital, then you need money for marketing.

Let's assume that you become affiliate marketer, you do not even own a product, you sell others, that is the most obvious issue, and that can't be that easy. Because you need to do marketing to sell between each other. That is why it can't be that big problem for people to just have common sense, that won't be enough no matter how much they try and do something like that.
