Recently I noticed that some casinos offer an option they call 'play for fun' and 'real play', which are also the same things as 'demo mode' and 'real funded account play mode'.

Now my question for the casinos which label demo mode playing as 'fun' is, does it mean that those who place bets with real money are not having fun and are just after chasing for a chance to increase their staked money, or what?

Demo is meant to learn how the game works while giving you that gambling experience and entertainment, but referring to it as 'fun play alone' makes real bettors, to me, fall under the category of desperate gamblers.

I noticed that too maybe but i think that  playing for fun is a  strategy created in help of newly members that doesn't have the ideas on how the casinos actually works, so playing for fun is an area were you can learn how to play  casinos when it comes to playing with your money, instead of wasting money playing what you don't have totally ideas of, is better to learn with fun play till when you have the idea of playing casinos you now play it with real play.

Yup, casino provide this as part of advertising, bringing interest to a new gambler who wanted to learn and understand how the game works, with such option, giving idea will possibly bring interest to a new gambler to try the game and start depositing their money, though aside from that, there's some who also playing for fun to kill some time, those who also wanted to try new strategy that they may use when they are in a real game, they can execute those and see if what's the percentage of making some decent run.
