Here is another example on why we really need to be quiet in our social media and not tell about our crypto investment as we might be the next target.
https://img.youtube.com/vi/QMgwDwDjSLg/0.jpgIn this case, streamer and content creator Kaitlyn 'Amouranth' Siragusa has been the target by this criminals as they force her to reveal where in the stash of his crypto. It's good thing that she has the presence of mind to bring the criminals to his husband who is waiting for a ambush as he was able to hit one of the assailant and husband and wife escape and the criminals was caught later.
I think this incident is a perfect example for our crypto life. You can only come forward with your identity when your personal safety is fully secured. It’s not right to always show off everything. Business people have one kind of life, but crypto life is completely different. If life’s security was 100% guaranteed, then by now we would have seen Satoshi Nakamoto. That’s why I believe it’s better not to make too much noise about crypto. If you or I start showing off, people’s eyes will definitely fall on us. And this can even cost us our life.
This is not just about one case, thousands of such incidents have already happened in the world. Here are a few examples:
★In Manhattan, an Italian investor was tortured for 17 days in May 2025 so that he would give access to his $27 million Bitcoin wallet.
★Ledger’s founder, David Balland, and his wife were kidnapped and held for ransom. They were pressured to give access to their crypto wallet.
★In France, the family member of the founder of the Paymium exchange was kidnapped. When he didn’t share private company information, his fingers were cut off.
There are thousands of cases like this. That’s why I believe these things are not for showing off. The more you can hide them, the better.
