Morata is not a serious player you ever wondered why he doesn’t last in all the top clubs he’s been at, I would also prefer to have a Santi Gimenez to an Alvaro Morata in my team. You feel Gimenez is not close to him based on the clubs he’s been at or what. I know Morata is more experienced and might have more goals than him but he’s aged and Santi Gimenez is younger and has more to give. AC Milan is looking to build a formidable new team and depending on Morata wouldn’t solve that. The club still have other attacking options and there’s also a Noah Okafor

Yes Alvaro Morata cannot be long term solution of any elite club despite experience. It is understandable that you would be favouring younger talent in Santi Gimenez who has displayed massive scoring capability and is able to do more. To club such as AC Milan which is planning to be future club then signing up young talent such as Gimenez is more practical than dealing in old age of player whose consistency has not been properly established. Having moved likes of Noah Okafor as other heavyweight strikers it is obvious club cannot afford to rest on one person and your reasoning also identifies that long term planning is key more than glorious history.
If truly AC Milan wants to build a team I think it's not around Morata or with Morata, the only time I was enjoying his game was when he was playing in the Spanish LA Liga, he was kind of a nice player then I was actually impressed with him there not until he moved to Chelsea, dude turned flop automatically, and was nothing to write home about, I'm even kind of remembering the kind of goals he misses during his time in Chelsea, and now he's already aged and it can't work if they want to build, he might be more experience than Gimenez but the strength and durability is needed also, so they should give it a second thought before they act actually.
