From your hypothetical belief, you simply mean to say Hal Finney is Satoshi and Satoshi is dead right?
If Satoshi is dead, what do you think would happen to the 1.1 million BTC Satoshi (Hal Finney) minded in the early days of Bitcoin?
To bee honest, I still belief neither Craig Wright or Hal Finney is Satoshi. Satoshi still lives and sees everything going on. There will be a time in the future when no one has access that address and we are old, only then ill believe Satoshi is dead.
I believe this state of dragging for who the real satoshi is, was exactly why Satoshi left his identity anonymous, the confusion and speculations of the real Satoshi will continue for ages.
Neither Craig Wright or Hal Finney maybe Satoshi, the benefits of Bitcoin we are enjoying is quite appreciable than finding who the real Satoshi is, can we enjoy Bitcoin and stop searching for what is considered a mystery.
