Victor Boniface should have agreed to go to other serious club in the Italian Seria A than AC Milan. A player of his talent moving from leverkus that's a title contender in the Germans Bundesliga to the Italian Serie A, it would have been notewor that Victor was going to a title contending team. AC Milan has gradually become a mediocre team in the league, they couldn't even make it to top 4 last season to qualify for the UCL next season.
The question we should be asking is Boniface a serious player? If he choose to go Ac Milan then is a match because he can communicate well with some of the unserious players like him. Right from the start I had that feel that Bayer Leverkusen will lose better players as soon as Alonso choose to join Madrid, now Boniface is leaving like the others. It would have been better for the player to join Napoli or Atalanta, at least they have that fighting spirit to compete for titles on like Ac Milan who are never consistent in the league, I wonder how it will be like having Boniface and Rafael Leão on the same team, Boniface should consider a move to the EPL.
Emphatic YES, he's a very serious player all his time he played for Bayer Leverkusen. His social engagements mixed with his football career makes a lot of people consider him not to be serious with his football profession. He is a talented attacker with the prowess to succeed in any serious club but not in AC Milan where in the past few years the club's hierarchy has really dropped both in their domestic league and Europe entirely. Like Samuel Chukwueze that's how Victor Boniface popularity will fade off playing for AC Milan.
When I noticed he wasn't as serious as I thought was when I watched him play for the Super Eagles, just because I like him and how he does things made start making up excuses for him even when I know he was bad with the ball. Well, that was before but something different might happen for him to be a play maker for Ac Milan, with the way he is I wish to see him beat defenders in a physical challenge and the club is not in any way making that effort of fighting for any title in the Serie A, meanwhile they have better players who can make the team stronger to face the other top clubs.
The problem with Ac Milan is, they will do well at the beginning of the season and you'd think they'll continue in that form till the end of the season but no, when it matters you see them losing easy games they're suppose to win, I just hope they don't joke around and end up in the relegation zone this season....
