we all know how both MVP and SMC dominates the league of Phoenix wanted to compete then they need to invest with good sets of players.
Even if they invest, the rich teams will just keep adding more quality players. What’s more important now is that the PBA should apply rules like a salary cap. That way there’s fairness, because the two giants who own multiple teams can easily stack up stars since they can afford it.
Honestly, it would even be better if one company can only own one team. That would help avoid bias or any suspicion of rigging. If that happens, maybe fans will start loving the PBA again.
That's how it works many years back, but since these two giant companies managed to bought those old rivals franchise they are now dominating the league, if that can be done maybe it was been process but the influence and power of both MVP and SMC already dominating, we've seen that when there are franchise who shows interest to enter the league they'll make sure that it won't happened without their authorization, not verbally but behind the acquisition, they've got the voices to echo before PBA commissioners will take their actions.
