A password manager is never a secure storage from the get-go, and the issue of vulnerability has been happening for years. This is why I am surprised a forum member opened a thread months ago saying "storing your seed phrase in a password manager" while some consider it to be extremely secure.
I am glad you opened this topic so people can understand the facts about password managers vulnerability instead of the misinformation.

It is reasonable to worry about need to use password manager to store seed phrase.
Although most people have confidence in security of storing passwords with password managers, they are not foolproof. Hackers can access your device and even crack your core password then all information which you use in this manager, including your seed phrase, might be stolen. Password manager helps with ordinary passwords, but when it comes to seed phrase, which is master code to digital wallet, then password manager probably is not  best one to use.
