Well basically Inter had a financial issue recently, between owner leaving, and then got by a group and all that afterwards, this was all a financial trouble they faced and because of that I am pretty sure they are afraid of being on the edge. I get that it is not that much money for them since they can afford to spend 50 or even 100 million, it wouldn't make them be terrible, but at the same time it is not really that big of a deal to spend that much, the risk is even bigger for them at the moment.
This should not be crazy, it should be something that would be risky because if they have something that is risky then we can't really consider this to be that much of a good deal, we have to make sure that it is going to be financially ok in the future.
I agree with you to some extent. Inter Milan is currently in a bit of a financial crisis, but they can sign new players for 50-100 million euros if they want. But they already have good players at low prices. Who were able to move the team forward with very good performances last season. I think Inter is deliberately in a bit of a financial crisis due to the change of ownership. I think the new owner wants to create good players at low prices and sell them at high prices. This is a clever plan by the new owner to return the club to its previous state by paying off the debts.
