Honestly I don’t think even rich people can compete with the SMB and MVP teams. Ramon Ang even said in an interview that they’re not making money from their PBA teams, instead they’re spending or losing money, and the only reason they stay is for the love of the league. Until the system or rules change, no new team will come in with the real interest of beating the powerhouse teams that are basically controlled by just two owners.
