Comparing our results with others is not a wise move, because everyone goes through a different process and also needs a different time to reach success.
As long as we are sure that the strategy we are using is right, then do it by continuing to evaluate because there may be other strategies that are better for us to generate profits in trading.
It is literally how you become a bad trader. If you keep comparing it to others then you are not going to make any decent money, most people will end up with a lot of losses and the best way to get money out of this would be making sure that we are handling our very best without needing anything further.
If we can do that, then we are not going to be worried about losing out, it's the best we can do and the best we can do right now would be making sure that we are dealing with a profitable business. It's this reason why we are handling our own investments and trades ourselves without looking at what others do. Just like the saying goes, you do not look at what the other man has, you just appreciate what you have instead.
Comparing yourself with others in trading is one of the fastest ways to lose focus and eventually lose money every trader has a unique path different levels of knowledge and different timeframes to reach success so trying to measure yourself against someone else will only bring frustration. What really matters is sticking to your own strategy while keeping room for evaluation and improvement sometimes a different method may work better for you but that does not mean you should abandon your process just because others are making faster gains.
The truth is chasing after what others do only leads to bad habits and poor decision making if you focus on your own trades and manage them with discipline then you do not need to worry about missing out the only competition you should have is with your past self not with someone else, like the saying goes do not look at what the other man has instead appreciate and build on what you have and that is where true progress in trading begins.
